OUR STORY
Hello, I'm Micala Kelley, and I'm thrilled to welcome you to my world of Miniature Australian Shepherds. While my journey into breeding these remarkable dogs began in 2018 with my fiancé and our beloved Ellie, life took unexpected turns. Despite enduring the loss of my fiancé to terminal cancer in 2020, my passion for these incredible animals remained unwavering.
In the midst of darkness, my loyal crew of Aussies became my guiding light. Manny, a new addition to our pack in August of that year, intuitively provided solace during my toughest moments. As my now service dog, his unwavering companionship helped ease my anxiety and lift my spirits.
As I navigated through grief, my pack expanded, growing from a humble quartet to an impressive ensemble. Each member holds a special place in my heart, serving as constant reminders of resilience and the beauty of unconditional love.
Beyond breeding, I am a professional graphic designer and freelance illustrator. Science and the creative spirit intertwine in everything I do.
My dogs aren't just pets; they're my passion, my companions, and my source of boundless joy. Through my breeding program, I aim to share their infectious enthusiasm for life and spread positivity far and wide.
Join me on this journey as we celebrate the remarkable spirit of Miniature Australian Shepherds and embrace the power of optimism together. Welcome to our community of wagging tails and endless adventures!
AVAILABLE PUPPIES/DOGS
Current pups who are looking for their forever families!
Blue is a nearly 3yr old neutered male. He has had extensive training and is searching for his person to go on adventures with. He has a medium energy with a low drive. Super fun and friendly boy. Would do best in a single dog home or one with females as he is male dog selective in the home. Does well out in public.

TIPS
The more elaborate you are with helping us understand you and the environment of your home that you are welcoming part of our crew to, the happier we are to place a critter with you! These little fluff balls are very much so a big part of our family even though they are moving on to spread our joy! Including references from vets, groomers, or someone of the like will help us help you!
ODDS AND ENDS
While we haven't dabbled in professional transport businesses as of yet, we are happy to try to work with you to try to find transport for your new family member. Just ask about delivery, we might even be able to transport for an added fee!
_
We raise our dogs (the cat too!) on a kibble and RAW diet. We have put a lot of research into our choice to do so and our critters are doing so wonderfully on it! While I can answer some basic questions for you, we urge you to put some time into doing some research for yourself. Our puppy packs also include information to some well educated individuals and groups on FaceBook to help you learn from others as well!
_
We offer other services such as professional photography of you and your critters, basic grooming for canines (think baths, nail trims, ear cleaning). We also have other professionals that help us that we are more than happy to refer to you for things like training or vet care!
Now before you jump in and commit to one of our adorable bundles of joy, we would love to hear about you, your family, and how things work around your home (size of yard, available time for activities/care, rules that are important for your new little family member to understand, etc.). While we would love for everything to be as simple as smiles and rainbows, it is important for us to be sure we are matching you up for success with your new little buddy!
With all of our pups, we require a non-refundable deposit fee of $200 once you have selected which one you plan on taking home with you. Once chosen and the deposit has been paid then we will give you a minimum of once a week updates on your new family member! Deposits can be paid via PayPal, Venmo, or Cash and are deducted from the total price of the pup.
Puppies are sold by two categories: Limited and Full registration. Limited registration is the typical choice for those who are just wanting a pet. Full registration refers to the inclusion of breeding rights on said puppy. We highly encourage our pet owners who have no intention of breeding to look into pediatric spay/neuter. Letting a pup mature longer before altering will aid in the overall health of your pup in the long run. Some puppies will only be sold as limited due to a possible breed standard flaw (coloring is the main source of this). Though as it is our goal to produce as true to the breed standard as possible, these puppies should be far and few between.
We also have our Guardianship Home program where we might have puppies available that we want to keep their genetics within our program, but do not have the space to physically keep them with us. The puppy would be yours to raise and keep as a part of your family, but at the appropriate time would come back to us to raise a maximum of two litters if female or be collected if male. These puppies are available at a slightly discounted price. They also come with a spay/neuter contract to be completed once the dog in question has fulfilled its role in our program. After each servicing (pregnancy or collection) we will reimburse part of your adoption fee, then once the dog completes their role in our program and gets spayed/neutered we will reimburse yet another part of your adoption fee.
Yet another option to find your true fluffy companion is our Retiree program. This is for older puppies or dogs who might have not met our breeding criteria or have filled their genetic role in our program and need a family to call their own. While the latter might sound cruel, I assure you it is quite the opposite. It isn't that we have "used" the individual to our maximal gain, it is the simple truth that we can't keep them all. For us to keep striving to reach our best potential in our program we have to keep breeding for it. That requires multiple dogs to build upon. I would much rather one of these dogs to meet and fall in love with their own family and receive the one on one care that I wouldn't be able to give if I kept every single dog I needed to use for my program. This scenario not only benefits my program, but also those families who are looking for a new fluffy member for their family and know they can't commit to the puppy stages that require every ounce of their attention.
